Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu passes away

Jesmond Tutu, the former archbishop of South Africa who won the Nobel Peace Prize, died on Sunday at the age of 90. He is known as an anti-apartheid symbol in South Africa. Apart from this, Tutu is also called the moral compass of the country. In 1984 he received the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1986 he was made the first Archbishop of Cape Town. In 2007, he was awarded the Gandhi Peace Prize in India.
